Takanori Tsuda della Chubu University, per poter osservare in che modo il consumo di mirtilli possa influenzare il glucosio e il metabolismo lipidico, hanno esaminato un gruppo di topi con\u00a0 una predisposizione genetica al diabete. I topi sono stati nutriti con o senza gli integratori a base di estratti di mirtillo per\u00a0 un periodo di cinque settimane. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span lang=\"IT\">I risultati dello studio hanno mostrato che il consumo degli estratti di mirtillo era associato a una riduzione dei livelli di glucosio nel sangue<span> <\/span>e ad una maggiore resistenza all\u2019insulina.
