A medida objetivaria inibir o consumo de carne para reduzir o impacto da ind\u00fastria pecu\u00e1ria no clima, e conseguir cumprir com a meta estabelecida em Paris de manter o aumento de temperatura abaixo dos 2 \u00b0C.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Durante a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o no parlamento, os representantes do Conselho de \u00c9tica explicaram que <strong>o estilo de vida dos dinamarqueses est\u00e1 longe de ser sustent\u00e1vel, do ponto de vista ecol\u00f3gico, e n\u00e3o se pode confiar apenas na autorregula\u00e7\u00e3o dos consumidores \u00e9ticos; por essa raz\u00e3o, para atingir os objetivos propostos, \u201c\u00e9 necess\u00e1rio atuar com rapidez\u201c<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Calcula-se que a ind\u00fastria de produ\u00e7\u00e3o de alimentos gera entre 19% e 29% das emiss\u00f5es poluentes que contribuem com o aquecimento global. Estima-se que o gado gera 10% do total de emiss\u00f5es de gases de efeito estufa. \u201cDistintos alimentos afetam o clima de forma diferente e mudar certos h\u00e1bitos pode proporcionar-nos grandes benef\u00edcios. Os estudos mostram que pequenas mudan\u00e7as na ingest\u00e3o de carnes bovina em pa\u00edses como a Dinamarca poderiam reduzir os gases de efeito estufa entre 20% e 35%\u201d, indicaram os assessores.<\/p>\n<p>O impacto da produ\u00e7\u00e3o de carne vai al\u00e9m da emiss\u00e3o de gases de efeito estufa. De acordo com a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/brasil\/en\/\">Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o das Na\u00e7\u00f5es Unidas para a Alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o e Agricultura<\/a>,\u00a0<strong>s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios 15.000 litros de \u00e1gua para produzir um quilograma de carne de vaca.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>A maioria de pessoas n\u00e3o tem ideia do n\u00edvel de polui\u00e7\u00e3o gerado pela produ\u00e7\u00e3o de carne.
