De acordo com a pesquisa publicada na revista <a href=\"http:\/\/journals.plos.org\/plosone\/\" target=\"_blank\">PloS One<\/a>, o <strong>consumo de manteiga \u00e9 pouco associado com o risco de morte prematura, e n\u00e3o foi encontrada associa\u00e7\u00e3o com doen\u00e7as card\u00edacas.<\/strong> Apenas foram encontradas correla\u00e7\u00f5es, mas n\u00e3o se p\u00f4de provar uma liga\u00e7\u00e3o causal com este estudo.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>O <a href=\"http:\/\/nutrition.tufts.edu\/profile\/faculty\/dariush-mozaffarian\" target=\"_blank\">Dr. Dariush Mozaffarian<\/a>, decano da Faculdade de Ci\u00eancias e Pol\u00edticas de Nutri\u00e7\u00e3o da Universidade de Boston, autor do estudo, apontou que <strong>a manteiga \u201cn\u00e3o deve ser demonizada nem considerada \u2018reinstaurada\u2019 como um caminho para uma boa sa\u00fade\u201c.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As descobertas dos pesquisadores n\u00e3o conformam uma recomenda\u00e7\u00e3o. Inclusive, os pesquisadores indicam <strong>que \u00e9 prefer\u00edvel o consumo de margarina e azeites de cozinha ricos em gorduras saud\u00e1veis, como o \u00f3leo de soja<\/strong>, linha\u00e7a ou azeite de oliva extra virgem, que provavelmente reduziriam o risco de morte prematura se comparados com a manteiga.<\/p>\n<p>Dana White, nutricionista e professora de Medicina Esportiva da Universidade de Quinnipiac em Hamden, Connecticut, ressaltou que \u201c<strong>a manteiga segue sendo um alimento muito rico em calorias e rico em gorduras, e oferece muito pouca densidade nutricional,<\/strong> e, portanto, deve ser consumida com uma estrita modera\u00e7\u00e3o\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Por outro lado, a nutricionista Erin Keane indicou <strong>que \u00e9 plaus\u00edvel consumir suficientes gorduras monoinsaturadas e \u00f4mega 3 ao mesmo tempo que se consome gorduras saturadas e trans,<\/strong> sempre com modera\u00e7\u00e3o.
