Os resultados indicam que<strong> a pr\u00e1tica \u00e9 eficaz no tratamento da lombalgia.<\/strong> O estudo tamb\u00e9m concluiu que este m\u00e9todo de atividade f\u00edsica melhora a qualidade de vida, a for\u00e7a, a flexibilidade e a consci\u00eancia corporal.<\/p>\n<p>Outros benef\u00edcios apontados pelo estudo se referem ao estado de \u00e2nimo de quem pratica Pilates. Segundo a autora do estudo, Tatiane Vieira, a partir das pesquisas analisadas, o Pilates <strong>contribui para diminuir o estresse, aumentar a confian\u00e7a e a disposi\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong>. Tamb\u00e9m \u201cmant\u00e9m ativo e engajado em uma atividade f\u00edsica regular, mostrando-se mais eficaz do que outras t\u00e9cnicas de exerc\u00edcios no tratamento da dor lombar\u201d, afirmou.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mas o que \u00e9 o Pilates?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Respire, concentre-se, relaxe e alongue. Estes s\u00e3o alguns princ\u00edpios da pr\u00e1tica Pilates, m\u00e9todo criado pelo alem\u00e3o <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pilates.com\/BBAPP\/V\/pilates\/origins-of-pilates.html\" target=\"_blank\">Joseph Pilates<\/a> (1880-1967) para alongar e fortificar os m\u00fasculos e articula\u00e7\u00f5es do corpo, de maneira suave, desenvolvendo a consci\u00eancia e o equil\u00edbrio corporal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cO m\u00e9todo Pilates tem sua import\u00e2ncia no tratamento das lombalgias pelo fortalecimento do m\u00fasculo transverso do abdominal, que tem a fun\u00e7\u00e3o de estabiliza\u00e7\u00e3o da coluna vertebral\u201d explica Tatiane.
