Como lembra a professora associada da Universidade de Calif\u00f3rnia (Estados Unidos) Suzi Hong, \u201co exerc\u00edcio n\u00e3o tem que ser tremendamente \u00e1rduo para que ofere\u00e7a benef\u00edcios \u00e0 sa\u00fade\u201d, afirmou.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>A professora desenvolveu um estudo para saber sobre<strong> os efeitos da pr\u00e1tica do esporte para a inflama\u00e7\u00e3o no corpo<\/strong>. Hong e colaboradores analisaram um grupo de adultos, com uma idade m\u00e9dia de 41 anos. Ap\u00f3s uma pr\u00e1tica de caminhada numa esteira el\u00e9trica a uma velocidade moderada, durante 20 minutos, conseguiram uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o de 5% nas c\u00e9lulas imunit\u00e1rias vinculadas \u00e0 inflama\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>O sistema imunit\u00e1rio protege o organismo contra les\u00f5es e outros alertas como por exemplo, os germens, produzindo um incha\u00e7o. A inflama\u00e7\u00e3o produzida nestas situa\u00e7\u00f5es poderia ficar permanentemente, explicou Hong. O incha\u00e7o pode estar relacionado a outras doen\u00e7as como a diabetes ou doen\u00e7as card\u00edacas.<\/p>\n<p>O estudo \u00e9 insuficiente em alguns aspectos, por n\u00e3o conseguir provar causalidade entre a inflama\u00e7\u00e3o, a doen\u00e7a e a pr\u00e1tica do esporte. Por\u00e9m, como lembra o diretor do Laborat\u00f3rio de Rendimento Humano da Universidade Estatal dos Apalaches, David Nieman, este tipo de estudo ajuda a refor\u00e7ar a necessidade de atividades f\u00edsicas para o bem-estar e a sa\u00fade.<\/p>\n<p>Nieman lembrou que \u00e9 importante estar atento \u00e0 inflama\u00e7\u00e3o no corpo. \u201c\u00c9 um problema grave que est\u00e1 na base de todas as doen\u00e7as cr\u00f4nicas importantes que experimentam os homens e as mulheres de hoje em dia.
