Com os movimentos lentos e suaves, esta pr\u00e1tica milenar chinesa pode ajudar a pessoas com doen\u00e7as card\u00edacas a praticar atividade f\u00edsica de forma saud\u00e1vel.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>De acordo com a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.heart.org\/HEARTORG\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Associa\u00e7\u00e3o Americana do Cora\u00e7\u00e3o (American Heart Association)<\/a>, \u201ca \u00eanfase na respira\u00e7\u00e3o e no relaxamento ajudam com a redu\u00e7\u00e3o do estresse\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Um estudo em que participaram 29 pessoas, com uma idade m\u00e9dia de 68 anos, que haviam sofrido ataque card\u00edaco ou que haviam passado por alguma interven\u00e7\u00e3o cir\u00fargica para abrir uma art\u00e9ria obstru\u00edda, mostrou que o tai chi foi uma alternativa para a reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o card\u00edaca.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com os pesquisadores, mais de um 60 por cento dos que sobrevivem a um ataque do cora\u00e7\u00e3o, preferem n\u00e3o fazer reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o por acharem que a pr\u00e1tica pode ser desagrad\u00e1vel ou dolorosa.<\/p>\n<p>A pesquisadora, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/elena-salmoirago-blotcher-73903931\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dra. Elena Salmoirago-Blotcher<\/a>, professora assistente de medicina na Faculdade de Medicina Warren Alpert da Universidade de Brown (Estados Unidos) afirmou que o tai chi \u00e9 uma boa op\u00e7\u00e3o para estas pessoas, \u201cporque se pode come\u00e7ar de uma forma muito lenta e simples, e \u00e0 medida que a confian\u00e7a aumenta, pode-se modificar o ritmo e os movimentos, para aumentar a intensidade\u201d, afirmou.<\/p>\n<p>O estudo destaca que a pr\u00e1tica \u00e9 segura para pacientes com problemas card\u00edacos. Os participantes do estudo afirmaram sentir-se contentes com a pr\u00e1tica, e que a recomendariam para outros amigos.<\/p>\n<p>Foram realizadas 24 aulas durante 12 semanas, no programa mais curto. E 52 classes, em 24 semanas, num programa longo.
