Apesar de grandes controv\u00e9rsias sobre os efeitos do consumo do caf\u00e9 para a sa\u00fade, parece que cada vez mais estudos comprovam que tomar entre tr\u00eas e cinco x\u00edcaras ao dia n\u00e3o representam riscos, salvo em alguns casos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ou todo o contr\u00e1rio. Segundo um estudo publicado na revista <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bmj.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>British Medical Journal\u00a0<\/em>(BMJ)<\/a>, feito por pesquisadores das universidades de Southampton e Edimburgo, no Reino Unido, o consumo moderado de caf\u00e9 apresentaria mais probabilidade de que seja ben\u00e9fico para a sa\u00fade do que prejudicial.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com a pesquisa, que analisou dados de 201 estudos, o consumo entre tr\u00eas e quatro x\u00edcaras por dia se associa a um risco menor de sofrer mortalidade ou doen\u00e7a card\u00edaca, se comparados com pessoas que n\u00e3o tomam a bebida.<\/p>\n<p>O caf\u00e9 tamb\u00e9m parece ser ben\u00e9fico para prevenir alguns tipos de c\u00e2ncer, diabetes, doen\u00e7as hep\u00e1ticas e dem\u00eancia. Em alguns casos, perceberam os efeitos tamb\u00e9m entre os que consumiam a bebida sem a cafe\u00edna.<\/p>\n<p>O estudo tem limita\u00e7\u00f5es porque n\u00e3o analisou as rela\u00e7\u00f5es de causa e efeito, e n\u00e3o se investigou se outros fatores como o tabaquismo ou os vari\u00e1veis estados de sa\u00fade, podem ter interferido nos resultados.
