{"id":15814,"date":"2018-04-23T10:10:34","date_gmt":"2018-04-23T10:10:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.funiber.org\/pt\/?p=15814"},"modified":"2018-04-23T10:10:34","modified_gmt":"2018-04-23T10:10:34","slug":"funiber-cidades-crescimento-demografico","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.funiber.blog\/pt\/arquitetura-e-desenho\/2018\/04\/23\/funiber-cidades-crescimento-demografico","title":{"rendered":"Cidades sobrecarregadas pelo crescimento demogr\u00e1fico"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Nos pr\u00f3ximos 35 anos, mais de 100 cidades ter\u00e3o uma popula\u00e7\u00e3o superior a 5,5 milh\u00f5es de habitantes, algumas delas s\u00e3o latino-americanas, segundo estudo<\/h2>\n<p>Segundo um estudo dos professores <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dan-hoornweg-6278766\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dan Hoornweg<\/a> e Kevin Pope da <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uoit.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Universidade de Ontario Instituto em Tecnologia<\/a> sobre meio ambiente e urbaniza\u00e7\u00e3o, publicado em <a href=\"http:\/\/journals.sagepub.com\/doi\/pdf\/10.1177\/0956247816663557\">Sage Journals<\/a>, portal de pesquisa cient\u00edficas, para finais de s\u00e9culo, prev\u00ea-se que a popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial oscile entre 6.900 e 13.100 milh\u00f5es, assim como que residam nas 101 cidades maiores.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>As cidades pequenas na \u00c1frica e \u00c1sia poder\u00e3o ser as mais afetadas pela sobrecarga populacional segundo os professores.<\/p>\n<p>O estudo serve de suporte para um especial sobre cidades sobrecarregadas publicado no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/cities\/2018\/mar\/19\/urban-explosion-kinshasa-el-alto-growth-mexico-city-bangalore-lagos\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>The Guardian<\/em><\/a>, o qual manifesta que o que aconte\u00e7a com as cidades com muita popula\u00e7\u00e3o nos pr\u00f3ximos 30 anos, determinar\u00e1 o ambiente global e a qualidade de vida das pessoas.<\/p>\n<p>Neste sentido, o artigo exp\u00f5e o argumento de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.weforum.org\/agenda\/2015\/11\/5-trends-for-the-future-of-economic-growth\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">muitos economistas<\/a> que sustentam que o crescimento da popula\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio para criar riqueza, e que a urbaniza\u00e7\u00e3o reduza significativamente o impacto ambiental da humanidade. O problema consiste em que as cidades devem se reestruturar para n\u00e3o se ver afetadas pelo crescimento demogr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMuitas cidades j\u00e1 est\u00e3o investindo em transporte limpo e \u00e1gua, rede de esgoto, energia renov\u00e1vel, planejamento, bem-estar e boa moradia para todos\u201d afirma o jornalista do especial, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/profile\/johnvidal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John Vidal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Casos na Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De acordo com o artigo, atualmente na cidade do M\u00e9xico, h\u00e1 20 milh\u00f5es de pessoas e se prev\u00ea que em 2050 sejam 25 milh\u00f5es. \u201cNingu\u00e9m esperava que a Cidade do M\u00e9xico crescesse tanto\u201d, diz <a href=\"http:\/\/sociologiaurbana.azc.uam.mx\/index.php?option=com_contact&amp;view=contact&amp;id=7&amp;Itemid=232\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Priscilla\u00a0Connolly<\/a>, professora de sociologia urbana da Universidade Aut\u00f4noma Metropolitana. \u201cHouve uma pol\u00edtica pr\u00f3-popula\u00e7\u00e3o. Agora, a cidade deixou que crescer e as cidades m\u00e9dias est\u00e3o crescendo mais r\u00e1pido\u201d sustenta Connolly.<\/p>\n<p>No Alto (Bol\u00edvia), a popula\u00e7\u00e3o atual \u00e9 de um milh\u00e3o e se estima que no de 2050 sejam 2,5 milh\u00f5es de pessoas. \u201cO Alto \u00e9 uma cidade em progresso, que come\u00e7a a prosperar \u00e0 medida que a ind\u00fastria e sua economia se desenvolvem\u201d, diz o cidad\u00e3o Mario Mamani, quem chegou ao Alto faz 10 anos.\u00a0 O pesquisador urbano <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/fernando-arag%C3%B3n-durand-5313014\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fernando Arag\u00f3n-Durand<\/a>, autor principal do relat\u00f3rio especial do <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ipcc.ch\/home_languages_main_spanish.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Painel Intergovernamental de Peritos sobre a Mudan\u00e7a Clim\u00e1tica<\/a> da ONU sustenta que \u201co M\u00e9xico, Brasil, Argentina e Uruguai lideraram a urbaniza\u00e7\u00e3o da Am\u00e9rica Latina. Mas, ainda estamos tratando de compreender as implica\u00e7\u00f5es de seu efeito sobre o meio ambiente\u201d.
