Em nosso planeta, as comunica\u00e7\u00f5es via r\u00e1dio da Austr\u00e1lia, \u00cdndia e China foram afetadas pelo aumento das radia\u00e7\u00f5es, ocasionando um apag\u00e3o de r\u00e1dio de n\u00edvel 3 &#8211; ou R3- (numa escala de 5). O servi\u00e7o de administra\u00e7\u00e3o Atmosf\u00e9rica e Oceanogr\u00e1fica dos Estados Unidos (NOAA) informou que o apag\u00e3o de r\u00e1dio ocorreu devido a uma ioniza\u00e7\u00e3o da atmosfera terrestre produzida pelo impacto das radia\u00e7\u00f5es da explos\u00e3o solar.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Os especialistas indicam que um apag\u00e3o de r\u00e1dio de n\u00edvel 3 implica interrup\u00e7\u00f5es nas comunica\u00e7\u00f5es radiais em amplas \u00e1reas, desativa\u00e7\u00e3o de todos os servi\u00e7os que utilizem sinais de r\u00e1dio por mais de uma hora e degrada\u00e7\u00e3o dos sinais de baixa frequ\u00eancia de navega\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o havia registro de um clar\u00e3o solar com as mesmas dimens\u00f5es desde setembro de 2005. No artigo \u00b4Novo ciclo solar poderia causar um desastre econ\u00f4mico\u00b4 publicado em nosso blog em 2010, identificamos os potenciais problemas que se apresentariam neste novo ciclo solar: \u201credes de energia inteligentes, Sistemas de Posicionamento Global (GPS), sistemas de controle a\u00e9reo, comunica\u00e7\u00f5es por r\u00e1dio e muitos outros dispositivos podem ser afetados por um repentino aumento da atividade solar\u201d. Os peritos, que t\u00eam observado a evolu\u00e7\u00e3o do novo ciclo solar, indicam que a atividade solar poderia 1aumentar nos pr\u00f3ximos dias.
