Estas nuvens desempenham um papel importante para os ciclos de energia e de \u00e1gua, j\u00e1 que s\u00e3o respons\u00e1veis por uma propor\u00e7\u00e3o significativa das chuvas que acontecem em todo o mundo.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Ele observou os dados dos sat\u00e9lites CALIPSO e <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/mission_pages\/cloudsat\/main\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CloudSat<\/a>, que orbitam na mesma rota desde 2006. O primeiro sat\u00e9lite mede a fuma\u00e7a, a poeira, a contamina\u00e7\u00e3o e outras part\u00edculas microsc\u00f3picas no ar. O segundo mede a localiza\u00e7\u00e3o e a altura das nuvens em todo o mundo.<\/p>\n<p>A partir dos dados coletados pelo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nasa.gov\/feature\/langley\/calipso-celebrates-10-years-of-cloud-observations-from-space\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sat\u00e9lite CALIPSO<\/a> foi poss\u00edvel classificar os aeross\u00f3is presentes na atmosfera. Segundo indica o relat\u00f3rio, as part\u00edculas contaminadas no ar absorvem a radia\u00e7\u00e3o de calor emitida pelo solo, aumentando a temperatura destas part\u00edculas, e consequentemente do ar. Por outro lado, ao bloquear a entrada de luz solar, o solo fica cada vez mais fresco.<\/p>\n<p>Para a forma\u00e7\u00e3o das nuvens, \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio que o solo esteja mais quente que o ar, para que a humidade possa evaporar-se e condensar-se.
