A data \u00e9 uma oportunidade para tomar consci\u00eancia da import\u00e2ncia da espinha para o nosso estado de sa\u00fade e bem-estar.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Problemas nas costas s\u00e3o os mais comuns em consultas m\u00e9dicas e afetam homens e mulheres. Estima-se que 80% da popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundial sofra de desconforto relacionado \u00e0 coluna, sendo atualmente uma das principais causas de afastamento do trabalho.<\/p>\n<p>Para <a href=\"https:\/\/www.funiber.blog\/pt\/esportes\/2017\/05\/08\/funiber-professor-congresso\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Carlos Lago<\/a>, professor da \u00e1rea de esportes da rede universit\u00e1ria com a qual <a href=\"https:\/\/www.funiber.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FUNIBER<\/a> colabora, &#8220;\u00e9 importante ter h\u00e1bitos posturais corretos para evitar dores e dist\u00farbios relacionados \u00e0 coluna que possam dificultar a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de atividades cotidianas e, assim, reduzir nossa qualidade de vida&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo o professor Carlos Lago, evid\u00eancias cient\u00edficas indicam que a melhor estrat\u00e9gia preventiva para reduzir os problemas de dor nas costas (low back pain) deve ser dupla: realizar exerc\u00edcios f\u00edsicos prescritos pelos profissionais e ter uma boa educa\u00e7\u00e3o postural. Ou seja, voc\u00ea deve realizar o exerc\u00edcio f\u00edsico de forma programada e voc\u00ea deve conhecer o corpo para adquirir uma postura adequada, dependendo da atividade que est\u00e1 sendo realizada.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Lago destaca a import\u00e2ncia da preven\u00e7\u00e3o para reduzir a probabilidade de que surjam problemas musculoesquel\u00e9ticos, especialmente entre a popula\u00e7\u00e3o que sofre de doen\u00e7as como artrite ou osteoporose, entre outros. No entanto, hoje em dia, qualquer um \u00e9 exposto a sofrer alguma patologia associada \u00e0 coluna vertebral. Como indicam os volumes da\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.thelancet.com\/series\/low-back-pain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Lancet Low Back Pain Series Working Group<\/em><\/a>, publicados neste ano, a dor nas costas \u00e9 a mais prevalente e complexa na popula\u00e7\u00e3o mundialmente ativa.<\/p>\n<p>Outro conselho importante \u00e9 se mexer. &#8220;A pr\u00e1tica regular de exerc\u00edcios f\u00edsicos permite fortalecer os m\u00fasculos protetores da coluna e favorece a melhora da mobilidade e da estabilidade de que voc\u00ea precisa para reduzir a probabilidade de dor e, consequentemente, a poss\u00edvel incapacidade para o trabalho&#8221;, afirma o professor. Lago destaca que este ano o objetivo da campanha do <strong>Dia Mundial da Coluna<\/strong> \u00e9, al\u00e9m de informar e educar sobre a import\u00e2ncia da coluna, incentivar atividades f\u00edsicas conscientes, programadas e supervisionadas.<\/p>\n<p>Organizada pela <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wfc.org\/website\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Federa\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial de Quiropraxia<\/a>, a data j\u00e1 conta com mais de 500 organiza\u00e7\u00f5es que ap\u00f3iam campanhas de preven\u00e7\u00e3o, informa\u00e7\u00e3o e promo\u00e7\u00e3o da atividade f\u00edsica, em todo o mundo. Para este ano, foi criado um concurso para recompensar atividades criativas realizadas em organiza\u00e7\u00f5es profissionais, institui\u00e7\u00f5es educacionais e de sa\u00fade para promover a conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o sobre as costas.
