Azia, c\u00f3lica abdominal, n\u00e1useas, diarreia, flatul\u00eancia e urg\u00eancia para evacuar s\u00e3o alguns dos sintomas mais comuns.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Estes inc\u00f4modos podem ter causas variadas, e dependem da condi\u00e7\u00e3o de cada esportista. O certo \u00e9 que podem afetar o rendimento na corrida, e inclusive, fazer com que desistam de seguir na maratona.<\/p>\n<p>Para evitar estes transtornos, uma possibilidade \u00e9 melhorar a capacidade gastrointestinal. Um grupo de pesquisadores no Reino Unido buscou conhecer os efeitos de<a href=\"https:\/\/www.funiber.blog\/pt\/saude-e-nutricao\/2019\/03\/07\/funiber-dieta-microbioma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> suplementos probi\u00f3ticos<\/a> sobre estes sintomas durante uma maratona.<\/p>\n<p>No estudo, os pesquisadores avaliaram 24 atletas divididos em dois grupos: um que recebeu suplementos com probi\u00f3ticos e outro que recebeu placebo. Todos seguiram este protocolo durante 28 dias antes de correr a maratona.<\/p>\n<p>O suplemento de probi\u00f3tico estava formado por tr\u00eas bact\u00e9rias Lactobacillus acidophilus, \u00a0Bifidobacterium bifidum e Bifidobacterium animalis subs p. Lactis. Ap\u00f3s o registro de sintomas gastrointestinais durante o per\u00edodo de suplementa\u00e7\u00e3o e na corrida, os pesquisadores observaram que nas semanas 3 e 4, os transtornos gastrointestinais foram menores em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s duas primeiras semanas no grupo que ingeriu o suplemento.<\/p>\n<p>No caso do grupo que consumiu placebo, n\u00e3o foram registradas mudan\u00e7as ao longo do m\u00eas.<\/p>\n<p>Em compara\u00e7\u00e3o, durante a corrida, os problemas gastrointestinais foram menos severos no grupo que consumiu o probi\u00f3tico, melhorando as velocidades m\u00e9dia durante a corrida. Entretanto, n\u00e3o houve diferen\u00e7as nos tempos finais entre os dois grupos.<\/p>\n<p>Os pesquisadores concluem que os suplementos probi\u00f3ticos do experimento foram positivos para diminuir os problemas gastrointestinais, e o grau de severidade, entre os corredores de maratonas.
