Os jogadores de futebol costumam ser as principais v\u00edtimas. Nela, a ruptura ou o estiramento do ligamento dificulta a articula\u00e7\u00e3o do joelho, e \u00e9 poss\u00edvel que necessite de uma interven\u00e7\u00e3o cir\u00fargica para recuperar a zona.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Mesmo ap\u00f3s a reconstru\u00e7\u00e3o deste ligamento na sala de cirurgia, h\u00e1 alguns problemas que podem dificultar a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o da articula\u00e7\u00e3o e at\u00e9 causar, no futuro, artrose.<\/p>\n<p>De acordo com um estudo realizado pelo Doutor Edisson D\u00edaz Bernal, especialista em Ortopedia e Traumatologia da Universidade Nacional da Col\u00f4mbia (UM), a cirurgia no ligamento cruzado anterior pode provocar um giro corporal para a direita, o que afetaria o equil\u00edbrio do corpo e o funcionamento do joelho.<\/p>\n<p>No estudo, ele analisou dez pacientes que haviam passado pela cirurgia, e que seguiram reabilita\u00e7\u00e3o completa de seis meses para recuperar o movimento.
