No organismo, o amido se transforma em a\u00e7\u00facares e gera a glicose, fonte de energia. \u00c9 com a glicose que nos movemos e at\u00e9 mesmo respiramos.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Por isso, muitos esportistas optam por recuperar-se ap\u00f3s a pr\u00e1tica esportiva alimentando-se com carboidrato. Mas ser\u00e1 que esta \u00e9 a dieta ideal neste caso?<\/p>\n<p>Segundo um estudo recente, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/30212306\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">publicado na revista <em>Journal of Applied Physiology<\/em><\/a>, o consumo combinado de carboidratos e prote\u00ednas depois do exerc\u00edcio aer\u00f3bico extenuante \u00e9 mais eficiente para a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o e o rendimento esportivo.<\/p>\n<p>Para chegar a esta conclus\u00e3o, eles analisaram 8 ciclistas de elite que realizaram 2 sess\u00f5es de exerc\u00edcios e interven\u00e7\u00f5es de dieta. Primeiro, eles realizaram uma sess\u00e3o em um cicloerg\u00f4metro, e nas primeiras duas horas de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o do exerc\u00edcio, eles ingeriram 1,2 gramas de carboidrato por quilo por hora ou uma combina\u00e7\u00e3o de 0,8 gramas de carboidrato mais 0,4 gramas de prote\u00ednas por quilo por hora.<\/p>\n<p>Passadas 18 horas desta fase de recupera\u00e7\u00e3o, eles avaliaram o rendimento dos esportistas com um novo teste de resist\u00eancia aer\u00f3bica.
