Atualmente, ele j\u00e1 revelou detalhes como a capacidade de decifrar palavras decodificando a atividade cerebral quase instantaneamente<\/h2>\n<p>O <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/funiber\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook<\/a> anunciou novos avan\u00e7os em seu projeto para escrever com a mente. Por meio de um sistema tecnol\u00f3gico chamado <strong>Interface c\u00e9rebro-computador (BCI) <\/strong>pequenos grupos de palavras e frases foram decifrados com a an\u00e1lise da atividade cerebral.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Os avan\u00e7os foram analisados \u200b\u200bpor um grupo de pesquisadores da Universidade da Calif\u00f3rnia, em S\u00e3o Francisco (USCF), nos Estados Unidos. Pela primeira vez, foi poss\u00edvel decifrar frases completas usando o algoritmo usado no sistema Interface c\u00e9rebro-computador (BCI). Os pesquisadores dizem que o objetivo desse sistema inovador \u00e9 &#8220;traduzir vocabul\u00e1rios muito mais amplos com taxas de erro drasticamente menores&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Da mesma forma, pretende-se que no futuro esta tecnologia possa ser usada para ajudar pacientes com disfun\u00e7\u00f5es neurol\u00f3gicas por meio de dispositivos BCI n\u00e3o invasivos. Atualmente, o sistema desenvolvido utiliza luzes infravermelhas que medem o n\u00edvel de oxigena\u00e7\u00e3o do corpo de fora e de forma totalmente segura para o ser humano.<\/p>\n<p>Embora a equipe respons\u00e1vel pela pesquisa afirme que as frases imaginadas nunca podem ser decifradas, espera-se que essa tecnologia revolucione o modo como a tecnologia e os sistemas de realidade virtual interagem. Comandos como &#8220;casa&#8221;, &#8220;selecionar&#8221; ou &#8220;deletar&#8221; podem ser instantaneamente decodificados pelo sistema BCI.<\/p>\n<p>O diretor de pesquisa do <a href=\"https:\/\/research.fb.com\/category\/augmented-reality-virtual-reality\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Facebook Reality Labs,<\/a> Mark Chevillet, afirma que esses avan\u00e7os j\u00e1 foram testados em pessoas e que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel apertar a m\u00e3o apenas com a decodifica\u00e7\u00e3o da atividade cerebral.
