Por\u00e9m, tamb\u00e9m seria importante, segundo as conclus\u00f5es deste estudo, manter o n\u00edvel adequado de vitamina D.<\/p>\n<p>Os pesquisadores analisaram os dados de 4.157 adultos com mais de 60 anos. Ap\u00f3s a an\u00e1lise, puderam afirmar que a debilidade muscular foi duas vezes maior em adultos idosos com defici\u00eancia de vitamina D (40,4%), em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os que tinham n\u00edveis de vitamina D adequados (21,6%).<\/p>\n<p>Tamb\u00e9m perceberam que a defici\u00eancia desta vitamina mostrou valores at\u00e9 3 vezes maior de deterioramento sobre o rendimento muscular, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com o grupo de controle que tinha n\u00edveis regulares da vitamina.<\/p>\n<p>A professora de nutri\u00e7\u00e3o da universidade irlandesa, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tcd.ie\/research\/profiles\/?profile=mosulli5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Maria O\u2019Sullivan<\/a>, afirmou que \u201cmanter a fun\u00e7\u00e3o muscular \u00e9 incrivelmente importante, e com frequ\u00eancia, passa-se por alto, na hora de promover um envelhecimento saud\u00e1vel.
