Segundo comunicaram os pesquisadores, atrav\u00e9s de um estudo publicado na <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41560-020-0598-5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">revista <em>Nature Energy<\/em><\/a>, esta c\u00e9lula solar poderia conseguir uma efici\u00eancia energ\u00e9tica de at\u00e9 50%.<\/p>\n<p>Para conseguir este m\u00e1ximo de efici\u00eancia em energia solar, foi necess\u00e1ria uma c\u00e9lula solar com seis uni\u00f5es. A c\u00e9lula fotovoltaica \u00e9 usada em conjunto com outras que formam m\u00f3dulos fotovoltaicos que juntos permitem a energia solar. Estas c\u00e9lulas n\u00e3o produzem res\u00edduos prejudiciais ao meio ambiente e \u00e9 uma alternativa ecol\u00f3gica na produ\u00e7\u00e3o energ\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n<p>Segundo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Ryan_France\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ryan France<\/a>, coautor do estudo, a c\u00e9lula solar poder\u00e1 ser usada nos pain\u00e9is fotovoltaicos que est\u00e3o na Terra. \u201cAt\u00e9 agora, as c\u00e9lulas solares do concentrador III-V de quatro jun\u00e7\u00f5es demonstraram as maiores efici\u00eancias de convers\u00e3o solar.
