Foram analisados os dados de 31 ensaios cl\u00ednicos internacionais e foi poss\u00edvel identificar que a adi\u00e7\u00e3o de frutas secas a uma dieta n\u00e3o produzia aumento de circunfer\u00eancia de cintura ou peso. Estes dados s\u00e3o relevantes ao considerar que estudos pr\u00e9vios demonstraram que o consumo de frutas secas reduz o risco de sofrer de diabetes ou hipertens\u00e3o.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>O estudo revela que os participantes emagreceram em m\u00e9dia 0,63 kg e perderam 1,27 cent\u00edmetros de cintura em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os que levaram uma dieta normal, ainda que os resultados possam ser atribu\u00eddos ao azar. Entretanto, os resultados reduzem o temor de ganhar peso por consumir frutas secas.<\/p>\n<p>Universidade de Medicina e Odontologia de Nova Jersey, em Newark, indica que os resultados s\u00e3o alentadores, mas n\u00e3o se trata de adicionar frutas secas a uma dieta de m\u00e1 qualidade.
