Entretanto, um novo estudo liderado pela UCSF Benioff Children&#8217;s Hospitals (S\u00e3o Francisco) revela que o aumento do exerc\u00edcio para cinco horas por semana previne a hipertens\u00e3o na meia-idade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>O estudo: resultados\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Em geral, adolescentes e adultos jovens s\u00e3o fisicamente ativos, mas este padr\u00e3o muitas vezes varia com a idade. Portanto, o estudo sugere manter um grau de atividade durante toda a vida adulta, observando que o exerc\u00edcio diminui a press\u00e3o arterial.<\/p>\n<p>Analisando 17% dos padr\u00f5es de atividade dos participantes, os pesquisadores descobriram que aqueles que exerciam moderadamente por pelo menos cinco horas por semana tinham 18% menos probabilidade de desenvolver hipertens\u00e3o do que aqueles que exerciam menos do que este tempo por semana.<\/p>\n<p>\u00c9 por isso que o estudo conclui com a indica\u00e7\u00e3o de perguntar aos pacientes sobre a atividade f\u00edsica durante as consultas m\u00e9dicas da mesma forma que s\u00e3o verificados rotineiramente a press\u00e3o arterial, a obesidade ou o tabagismo.
