Os resultados da pesquisa foram publicados na revista <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/journals.plos.org\/plosone\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">PLOS ONE<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esta esp\u00e9cie de \u00e1gua-viva multiplicou sua presen\u00e7a no Mar Mediterr\u00e2neo. \u201cNas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, o surgimento de <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">blooms<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0ou prolifera\u00e7\u00f5es de medusas tem sido relacionado a varia\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais e mudan\u00e7as no ecossistema de origem antr\u00f3pica. A sobrepesca, eutrofiza\u00e7\u00e3o, aumento das temperaturas e acidifica\u00e7\u00e3o oce\u00e2nica s\u00e3o alguns dos fatores aos quais tem sido atribu\u00eddo o aparecimento maci\u00e7o de medusas nas costas\u201d, indica o CSIC.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Segundo o estudo, apesar da acidifica\u00e7\u00e3o e do aquecimento das \u00e1guas esperados para o pr\u00f3ximo s\u00e9culo, essa \u00e1gua-viva sobreviver\u00e1.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Especificamente, os pesquisadores analisaram como os efeitos mencionados afetariam a reprodu\u00e7\u00e3o assexuada e a din\u00e2mica populacional dessa esp\u00e9cie e descobriram que durante a fase bent\u00f4nica assexuada eles assumem a forma de p\u00f3lipos que se reproduzem em condi\u00e7\u00f5es que seriam vi\u00e1veis \u200b\u200bpara o pr\u00f3ximo s\u00e9culo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.funiber.org\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FUNIBER<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> patrocina in\u00fameros programas universit\u00e1rios com o objetivo de oferecer aos profissionais as informa\u00e7\u00f5es completas e atualizadas sobre os diferentes desafios que as mudan\u00e7as clim\u00e1ticas representam hoje.
