No entanto, os estudos n\u00e3o sustentam os incr\u00edveis benef\u00edcios de perda de peso prometidos por esta dieta. Esta dieta \u00e9 seguida por celebridades e \u00e9 acompanhada por imagens da transforma\u00e7\u00e3o de peso das pessoas. Por outro lado, os estudos n\u00e3o mostram nenhuma evid\u00eancia de sua efic\u00e1cia em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com as dietas tradicionais.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Universidade de Bath (Reino Unido) criou um teste para investigar os benef\u00edcios de v\u00e1rios estilos alimentares. Um grupo de teste jejuava dia sim, dia n\u00e3o e no dia em que comia, comia 50% mais alimentos do que o normal. O segundo grupo reduziu sua ingest\u00e3o cal\u00f3rica em 25% em todas as refei\u00e7\u00f5es di\u00e1rias. O \u00faltimo grupo jejuou em dias alternados como o primeiro grupo, mas comeu 100% mais nos dias em que comeu. Todos os participantes consumiam cerca de 2000-2500 kcal por dia. Ap\u00f3s tr\u00eas semanas, os dois primeiros grupos reduziram seu consumo para uma m\u00e9dia de 1500-2000 kcal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Em apenas tr\u00eas semanas, o segundo grupo perdeu 1,9 kg e os scanners corporais DEXA mostraram que esta perda de peso foi devida a uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o na gordura corporal. Por outro lado, o primeiro grupo em jejum perdeu aproximadamente o mesmo peso corporal, 1,6 kg, mas metade deste foi devido \u00e0 perda de peso e o restante \u00e0 perda de massa muscular. O \u00faltimo grupo n\u00e3o sofreu nenhuma perda de peso.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apesar destes resultados, as pessoas acreditam que as dietas de jejum t\u00eam benef\u00edcios para a sa\u00fade metab\u00f3lica, mesmo que se perca menos peso. Como j\u00e1 vimos, a pesquisa diz o contr\u00e1rio.
