{"id":25892,"date":"2022-02-23T05:19:33","date_gmt":"2022-02-23T10:19:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.funiber.org\/pt\/?p=25892"},"modified":"2022-02-18T05:23:04","modified_gmt":"2022-02-18T10:23:04","slug":"funiber-aquecimento-cultivos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.funiber.blog\/pt\/meio-ambiente\/2022\/02\/23\/funiber-aquecimento-cultivos","title":{"rendered":"O aquecimento global afeta principalmente as principais culturas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Um novo estudo conclui que o aumento das temperaturas globais afetar\u00e1 onde o caf\u00e9, abacates e cajus podem crescer.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c0 medida que as temperaturas globais aumentam, as principais \u00e1reas agr\u00edcolas para caf\u00e9, abacate e caju mudar\u00e3o drasticamente.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Segundo os cientistas, o aquecimento global contribuir\u00e1 para uma perda de cerca de 50% das principais \u00e1reas de cultivo de caf\u00e9 no Brasil, Col\u00f4mbia, Indon\u00e9sia e Vietn\u00e3 at\u00e9 2050. Tamb\u00e9m causar\u00e1 um aumento nas \u00e1reas adequadas para o cultivo de abacate e caju em \u00e1reas com altitudes e latitudes mais altas, como Argentina, China, Estados Unidos e \u00c1frica do Sul. No entanto, tornar\u00e1 as principais \u00e1reas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o atuais, localizadas em latitudes mais baixas, menos adequadas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O estudo concluiu que importantes medidas ambientais devem ser tomadas nas \u00e1reas de produ\u00e7\u00e3o das tr\u00eas culturas, como a regulamenta\u00e7\u00e3o do manejo do local e o melhoramento das plantas. Tamb\u00e9m sugeriu que algumas regi\u00f5es produtoras de caf\u00e9 teriam que mudar de ar\u00e1bica para robusta, a variedade mais popular.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O caf\u00e9 \u00e9 bem conhecido por sua alta sensibilidade \u00e0 temperatura, mas boas \u00e1reas para o cultivo de ar\u00e1bica podem ser aumentadas pela metade. Mesmo no cen\u00e1rio de temperaturas mais baixas, os principais exportadores, como o Brasil, puderam ver suas \u00e1reas mais aptas reduzidas em at\u00e9 76%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">No caso do caju, a \u00e1rea total do mundo apta para o cultivo aumentaria em 17%. No entanto, isso significa que os pa\u00edses que s\u00e3o grandes exportadores dessa safra sofreriam muito. Alguns sofreriam perdas de at\u00e9 metade de sua \u00e1rea cultivada sob o modelo de aumento de temperatura mais baixo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pa\u00edses que s\u00e3o grandes exportadores de abacate tamb\u00e9m veriam mudan\u00e7as. O M\u00e9xico, o maior exportador mundial, veria um crescimento de 80% em climas ideais de cultivo. No entanto, nas mesmas condi\u00e7\u00f5es, outros grandes pa\u00edses exportadores, como o Peru, teriam uma perda de 50%.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O estudo aconselha que as \u00e1reas que podem ser mais adequadas para o cultivo das tr\u00eas culturas promulguem legisla\u00e7\u00e3o que proteja contra outros impactos ambientais negativos, como desmatamento e perda de biodiversidade nativa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As tr\u00eas plantas do estudo s\u00e3o importantes fontes de renda para pequenos agricultores com propriedades de menos de cinco hectares.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A FUNIBER promove estudos na \u00e1rea de nutri\u00e7\u00e3o e meio ambiente.
