Embora esta tecnologia seja mais limpa que a de carv\u00e3o, a fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o de a\u00e7o n\u00e3o est\u00e1 totalmente livre de contamina\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>Ainda assim, no ano passado, segundo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/d41586-022-03699-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a revista <em>Nature<\/em><\/a>, uma f\u00e1brica na Su\u00e9cia produziu o primeiro \u201ca\u00e7o verde\u201d do mundo, com a ajuda de hidrog\u00eanio que foi feito usando eletricidade de baixo carbono, gerada a partir de energia hidrel\u00e9trica, nuclear e e\u00f3lica. A planta piloto \u00e9 de propriedade da HYBRIT, uma joint venture com empresas nacionais.<\/p>\n<p>H\u00e1 muita expectativa de como o hidrog\u00eanio poderia ajudar a descarbonizar a economia mundial. Em algumas ind\u00fastrias, como o transporte, o uso do hidrog\u00eanio n\u00e3o \u00e9 t\u00e3o aconselh\u00e1vel j\u00e1 com a energia el\u00e9trica, h\u00e1 solu\u00e7\u00f5es de baixo carbono mais eficientes.<\/p>\n<p>No entanto, em processos industriais como a produ\u00e7\u00e3o de pl\u00e1stico, a contribui\u00e7\u00e3o do hidrog\u00eanio poder\u00e1 ser \u00fatil para baixar as emiss\u00f5es de CO2. Tamb\u00e9m como combust\u00edvel l\u00edquido para viagens a\u00e9reas e mar\u00edtimas.<\/p>\n<p>As expectativas s\u00e3o grandes e os investimentos em projetos de hidrog\u00eanio est\u00e3o em alta. O Hydrogen Council, um grupo da ind\u00fastria em Bruxelas, estima que as centenas de projetos de hidrog\u00eanio em grande escala anunciados j\u00e1 representam um poss\u00edvel investimento de US$ 240 bilh\u00f5es at\u00e9 2030 \u2013 embora at\u00e9 agora, apenas um d\u00e9cimo deles sejam neg\u00f3cios totalmente conclu\u00eddos.<\/p>\n<p>At\u00e9 2050, especialistas preveem um aumento de entre cinco e sete vezes na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de hidrog\u00eanio. \u00a0Restar\u00e1 saber se com esta alternativa, a economia conseguir\u00e1 reduzir a pegada de carbono do mundo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A FUNIBER promove estudos na \u00e1rea de projetos e meio ambiente.
