Atualmente, um novo estudo publicado na revista <em>Nutrients <\/em>demonstra que o consumo di\u00e1rio de nozes reduz o risco de s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lica em jovens adultos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A pesquisa, intitulada \u201cConsumption of Tree Nuts as Snacks Reduces Metabolic Syndrome Risk in Young Adults: A Randomized Trial\u201d examinou 84 adultos com idade entre 22 e 36 anos com fatores de risco cl\u00ednicos para a s\u00edndrome metab\u00f3lica. Os participantes foram distribu\u00eddos aleatoriamente em dois grupos: um grupo consumiu nozes como lanche entre as refei\u00e7\u00f5es, enquanto o outro grupo consumiu lanches convencionais ricos em carboidratos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ap\u00f3s 16 semanas de acompanhamento, foram observados resultados significativos no grupo que consumiu nozes. As mulheres que consumiram nozes como lanche experimentaram uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o significativa na circunfer\u00eancia da cintura, enquanto os homens tiveram uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o nos n\u00edveis de insulina. Al\u00e9m disso, foi observada uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o nos n\u00edveis de triglicer\u00eddeos e uma melhoria no \u00edndice de triglicer\u00eddeos\/HDL.
