Ao que parece, os probi\u00f3ticos oferecem maiores benef\u00edcios \u00e0s pessoas com n\u00edveis de hipertens\u00e3o mais elevados, e aqueles com um maior n\u00famero de bact\u00e9rias obtiveram uma maior redu\u00e7\u00e3o da hipertens\u00e3o em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com os que continham somente um tipo delas.<!--more--> Al\u00e9m disso, afirmou-se que as pessoas que consumiram probi\u00f3ticos por menos de dois meses n\u00e3o tiveram melhora em sua press\u00e3o arterial.<\/p>\n<p>O estudo permitiu identificar que as pessoas que consumiram probi\u00f3ticos tiveram uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o da press\u00e3o arterial sist\u00f3lica de cerca de 3,6 mmHg e uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o da press\u00e3o arterial diast\u00f3lica de, aproximadamente, 2,4 mmHg, em compara\u00e7\u00e3o com aquelas que n\u00e3o os consumiram.<\/p>\n<p>Os pesquisadores afirmaram que, aparentemente, os probi\u00f3ticos oferecem maiores benef\u00edcios \u00e0s pessoas que t\u00eam n\u00edveis mais altos de hipertens\u00e3o.<\/p>\n<p>A autora do estudo, a doutora Jing Sun da Universidade Griffith, na Austr\u00e1lia, afirmou que o consumo de probi\u00f3ticos pode ser parte de um estilo de vida saud\u00e1vel que ajuda a reduzir a hipertens\u00e3o e a manter n\u00edveis saud\u00e1veis de press\u00e3o arterial.<\/p>\n<p>O Dr. Bruce Rutkin, cardiologista no Hospital da Universidade de North Shore, em Manhasset, Nova York, informou que estudos anteriores demonstraram que os probi\u00f3ticos t\u00eam um impacto favor\u00e1vel na press\u00e3o arterial, proporcionando uma redu\u00e7\u00e3o dos n\u00edveis de colesterol LDL (ou \u201ccolesterol ruim\u201d), ajudando, al\u00e9m disso, a controlar o n\u00edvel de a\u00e7\u00facar no sangue e a reduzir a resist\u00eancia \u00e0 insulina, um fator chave na diabetes.<\/p>\n<p>Rutkin considera que a ingest\u00e3o de probi\u00f3ticos, em combina\u00e7\u00e3o com um estilo de vida saud\u00e1vel para o cora\u00e7\u00e3o, pode ajudar a modificar o risco cardiovascular.<\/p>\n<p>Outros especialistas afirmaram que s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios mais estudos, porque a pesquisa apresentada mostra uma associa\u00e7\u00e3o entre a ingest\u00e3o de probi\u00f3ticos e uma leitura mais baixa da press\u00e3o arterial, mas n\u00e3o demonstra causalidade.<\/p>\n<p>Para a Dra.
