A partir dos dados apresentados pelo estudo, elaborou-se um\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/100.org\/wp-addons\/maps\/\" target=\"_blank\">mapa interativo no portal 100.org<\/a>, no qual os usu\u00e1rios poder\u00e3o observar o tipo de <strong>sistemas de energia renov\u00e1vel que se poderia utilizar em cada pa\u00eds para erradicar por completo o uso de combust\u00edveis f\u00f3sseis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cada governo \u00e9 respons\u00e1vel por realizar investimentos e pesquisas tecnol\u00f3gicas que permitam incorporar sistemas para a gera\u00e7\u00e3o de energia limpa. Em diversos pa\u00edses realizaram-se esfor\u00e7os para incorporar em sua matriz energ\u00e9tica sistemas de energia solar residenciais, projetos de energia solar, projetos hidrel\u00e9tricos, sistemas de energia geot\u00e9rmica, projetos de energia e\u00f3lica e sistemas para aproveitar as correntes marinhas. O mapa interativo da 100.org mostra uma <strong>proje\u00e7\u00e3o da combina\u00e7\u00e3o de tecnologias que poderiam ser utilizadas em cada regi\u00e3o para eliminar o uso de combust\u00edveis f\u00f3sseis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A equipe de trabalho a cargo do estudo <strong>analisou informa\u00e7\u00e3o de 139 pa\u00edses<\/strong> para calcular as demandas de energia de \u00e1reas como transporte, eletricidade, aquecimento, agricultura, entre outras ind\u00fastrias; e avaliaram-se as solu\u00e7\u00f5es de energia limpa que poderiam ser adotadas. Os <strong>resultados do estudo mostram que os sistemas de energia hidr\u00e1ulica, e\u00f3lica e solar seriam os mais utilizados<\/strong> para cobrir as necessidades da maioria dos pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n<p>O estudo tamb\u00e9m assinala algumas mudan\u00e7as que seriam necess\u00e1rias para alcan\u00e7ar um mundo alimentado por sistemas de energia renov\u00e1vel. Estima-se que para 2020 j\u00e1 n\u00e3o se deveriam construir novos projetos de energia nuclear, f\u00f3ssil ou de biomassa; e, al\u00e9m disso, nos domic\u00edlios todos os dispositivos deveriam ser el\u00e9tricos e n\u00e3o utilizar g\u00e1s. Em 2030, os trens, \u00f4nibus e navios deveriam ser el\u00e9tricos. <strong>Em 2050, toda a infraestrutura deveria estar pronta para funcionar utilizando fontes de energia renov\u00e1veis.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A tecnologia atual nos permitiria alcan\u00e7ar a meta exposta pelo estudo por volta de 2050. Um\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/mitei.mit.edu\/futureofsolar\" target=\"_blank\">estudo recente, apresentado pelo Instituto de Tecnologia de Massachusetts<\/a>,\u00a0indica que a <strong>ind\u00fastria de energia solar j\u00e1 est\u00e1 pronta<\/strong> para permitir avan\u00e7os rumo a meta de um mundo livre de combust\u00edveis f\u00f3sseis, embora ainda seja necess\u00e1rio cortar custos.<\/p>\n<p>Mark Jacobson, autor do estudo e Diretor do Programa de Atmosfera e Energia da Universidade de Standford, assinala que uma mudan\u00e7a para o uso de fontes de energia 100% renov\u00e1veis \u00e9 \u201ct\u00e9cnica e economicamente vi\u00e1vel\u201d, com uma pequena margem de inconvenientes.
