As les\u00f5es nesta regi\u00e3o s\u00e3o devido, em parte, \u00e0 flexibilidade do m\u00fasculo. Uma s\u00e9rie de pesquisas v\u00eam tentando descobrir se <strong>a flexibilidade \u00e9 um importante fator de risco<\/strong> e qual tipo de treino espec\u00edfico poderia prevenir les\u00f5es nos isquiotibiais.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>O argentino <a href=\"http:\/\/equipophysical.com\/es\/blog\/factores-de-riesgo-lesional-en-los-isquiotibiales-la-flexibilidad-como-factor-de-riesgo\" target=\"_blank\">Mat\u00edas Sampietro<\/a>, professor de educa\u00e7\u00e3o f\u00edsica e readaptador f\u00edsico, analisa de maneira breve alguns aspectos da rela\u00e7\u00e3o entre flexibilidade dos isquiotibiais e riscos de les\u00e3o. De acordo com Sampietro, \u201ch\u00e1 estudos que demonstram que o treino da flexibilidade para este grupo muscular pode ser parte importante dos programas preventivos\u201d, mas existe uma tend\u00eancia mais atual que indica que o treino exc\u00eantrico resulta ser mais eficaz para evitar les\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p><strong>O treino exc\u00eantrico explora o alongamento do m\u00fasculo, a fase onde a musculatura \u00e9 mais exigida por trabalhar mais as fibras.<\/strong> Por exemplo, no futebol quando o jogador chuta ele estica a perna para produzir a for\u00e7a contra a bola e assim estica o m\u00fasculo realizando um movimento exc\u00eantrico. Um estudo realizado pelo pesquisador e professor de Fisioterapia da <a href=\"http:\/\/starfsfolk.hi.is\/en\/simaskra\/5\" target=\"_blank\">Universidade da Isl\u00e2ndia<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/starfsfolk.hi.is\/en\/simaskra\/5\" target=\"_blank\">Arni Arnason<\/a>, em 2008, comprovou a efici\u00eancia do treino exc\u00eantrico ao comparar treinamentos de flexibilidade com e sem treinos exc\u00eantricos.<\/p>\n<p>Na mesma linha, pesquisadores v\u00eam investigando tamb\u00e9m a correla\u00e7\u00e3o entre a flexibilidade dos flexores de quadril com o risco de les\u00f5es isquiotibiais. Mas como afirma Sampietro, os estudos s\u00e3o insuficientes para as conclus\u00f5es sobre o tema.
