Os pesquisadores indicaram que o elevado conte\u00fado de fibra e frutose proporcionam qualidades laxantes que beneficiam o funcionamento intestinal das pessoas. As peras cont\u00eam grande quantidade de \u00e1gua, pot\u00e1ssio e magn\u00e9sio, por isso seu consumo ajuda a evitar a reten\u00e7\u00e3o de l\u00edquidos e o bom funcionamento dos rins. Esta fruta tem poucas calorias e \u00e9 rica em vitaminas antioxidantes e minerais como o zinco.<br \/>\nEntre os estudos analisados, destaca-se um realizado por pesquisadores da Su\u00e9cia, no qual se realizou um seguimento e an\u00e1lise da alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o de 75.000 pessoas, e, a partir dos resultados, determinou-se que o consumo de peras, al\u00e9m de ma\u00e7\u00e3s e hortali\u00e7as de folha verde, reduzia a possibilidade de um acidente cerebrovascular. Pesquisadores de Qingdao, na China, obtiveram um resultado similar ao realizar uma meta-an\u00e1lise de vinte estudos de coorte prospectivos.<br \/>\nOutro estudo realizado pela Dra. Mink, nos Estados Unidos, com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de mais de 100 mil mulheres na p\u00f3s-menopausa, permitiu identificar que<strong> o consumo de peras protegia \u00e0s pessoas de padecer de patologias vasculares<\/strong>. Al\u00e9m disso, identificou-se que o consumo de peras, ma\u00e7\u00e3s e frutas vermelhas, permite reduzir o risco de diabetes mellitus tipo 2.<br \/>\nAs ma\u00e7\u00e3s s\u00e3o muito populares por contribuir de forma ben\u00e9fica para a sa\u00fade das pessoas.
